The Wimbledon Championships, commonly known as Wimbledon, is the oldest and most prestigious tennis tournament in the world. Founded in 1877 and held annually at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London, it is one of the four Grand Slam tournaments and the only one played on grass courts. This unique surface creates a fast-paced style of play and gives the tournament its distinctive character.
THE BRIEF
The goal was to create a short animation inspired by the essence of the Wimbledon Championships, focusing on the court, the bounce of the tennis balls, and the ambient sounds of the environment. A twist at the end of the animation was added to surprise the audience. The colors and textures were carefully chosen to immerse viewers and make them feel as if they were experiencing a live tennis match.
