Aleksandra Z., aka "Ola," is my girlfriend, and about a year ago she got her first flat in the UK. After spending many great days and nights at her place, I felt inspired to redesign her living room and kitchen. I’ve been steadily improving my skills in interior design, so this felt like the perfect project to challenge myself creatively.

Most of my personal projects are connected to things I love or places I know well, and this was a great opportunity to reimagine a space that's already familiar to me. I didn’t ask Ola for specific input—instead, I let my creativity take the lead and tried to develop a vision for a space that felt completely different from what she currently has.

I wanted to create a contrast-driven design, using mid-grey tones as a base while bringing in color through small elements like plants and decorative objects. I’ve always loved the way greys, whites, and blacks work together, and that combination became the foundation of this entire project.
